Reagan Dunn Receives the Endorsement of All Eight Mayors in His Bid for Re-Election to the King County Council
King County Councilmember Reagan Dunn today announced the endorsements of every one of the eight mayors representing the cities in King County Council District 9. Each mayor represents unique and diverse communities, and they all agree that Councilmember Dunn has the experience and background to help lead our County in the right direction.
"Maple Valley is a diverse and growing community that is ably represented by Reagan Dunn" said Maple Valley Mayor Sean Kelly. "I strongly support his bid for re-election."
In addition to Kelly, Reagan has been endorsed by Mayor Denis Law of Renton, Mayor John Stokes of Bellevue, Mayor Carol Benson of Black Diamond, Mayor Jeff Wagner of Covington, Mayor Liz Reynolds of Enumclaw, Mayor Suzette Cooke of Kent and Mayor Rich Crispo of Newcastle.
“Reagan Dunn has continued to be a very effective representative for Renton on important county-wide issues,” said Mayor Denis Law. “From his efforts to address flood control issues on the Cedar River, to helping us create more affordable housing, Reagan has earned my support in his bid for re-election.”
"Reagan understands the needs of the residents of the Enumclaw Plateau and I unequivocally support his re-election to the County Council," said Mayor Liz Reynolds.
"I’m honored to have earned the support of every Mayor in Council District Nine," said Councilmember Dunn. "I work hard to represent every community within Council District 9 and receiving all eight endorsements is an affirmation of the work I've been doing for the last four years"
As a Councilmember, Reagan has led efforts to combat addiction, advocate for our veterans and fight against human trafficking. Dunn has voted against more tax increases than any other member of the County Council, works to protect the environment, and prioritizes county spending by standing up against waste and government inefficiencies.
