Councilmember Reagan Dunn Receives Endorsements from a Super Majority of Maple Valley City Councilmembers including Mayor
Councilmember Reagan Dunn announced today the backing of an overwhelming majority of Councilmembers from the City of Maple Valley.
Endorsing Dunn’s re-election to the King County Council are Mayor Sean Kelly, Deputy Mayor Dana Parnello, and Councilmembers Bill Allison, Les Burberry, Linda Johnson and Erin Weaver.
“Because of the outstanding partnership with Councilmember Dunn, The City of Maple Valley will have a state-of-the-art brand-new Tahoma High School and Regional Learning Center opening soon in Maple Valley,” said Mayor Sean Kelly. “Councilmember Dunn was instrumental in saving the King County Sheriff's Office Air (helicopter) Support Unit. Maple Valley is a contract partner with the King County Sheriff's Office and the Air Support Unit is a resource we use frequently. “
“I am very pleased to have the support of a clear majority of the City Council of Maple Valley,” said Councilmember Dunn. “I’ve worked hard to increase bus service and provide for greater recreational opportunities for area youth and I’m appreciative for this strong show of support for my work on behalf of the residents of Maple Valley.”
As a Councilmember, Reagan has led efforts to combat addiction, advocate for our veterans and fight against human trafficking. Dunn has voted against more tax increases than any other member of the County Council, works to protect the environment, and prioritizes county spending by standing up against waste and government inefficiencies.
Councilmember Dunn has also been endorsed by all nine mayors in County Council District 9.
