Moore Information, a respected polling firm based out of Portland, OR, released the first poll to test the newly configured 8th Congressional District. More importantly, Reagan currently leads Democrat incumbent Kim Schrier by 4 percent in her own district.

Results of our recent survey in Washington’s newly created 8th Congressional District show Reagan Dunn leading all Republicans by a better than two-to-one margin and leading incumbent Kim Schrier in the head-to-head general election ballot test by a margin of 40% to 36%.

General Election: Reagan Dunn leads Kim Schrier in a two-way race 40% to 36%. Both Dunn and Schrier gain equal support from voters in their respective parties; however, Dunn holds an overall advantage over Schrier thanks to an 11-point lead with Independents. Furthermore, among voters who are aware of both Dunn and Schrier, Dunn’s lead grows to 9 points (47-38%).

2020 GOP nominee Jesse Jensen not only trails Dunn in the primary but also trails Schrier by a point in the two-way general election ballot (37% to 38%).

Additionally, among Republicans Dunn is getting 21% of the vote while 2020 GOP nominee Jesse Jensen sits at 10% among GOPers. Matt Larkin, another Republican candidate, also receives 10% of the GOP vote and Republican Matthew Overton has 2% with that group.

Still a long way to go in this election but today Reagan Dunn is not only in a position to advance to the general election against Kim Schrier but he actually leads her in a head-to-head matchup.
